JUNE FAVOURITES

It's that time again... monthly favourites! I only have a few this month as well.

Quick Fix Facials Calming Clay Mask | Essie 'Bikini So Teeny' | Rimmel Nail Rescue | MUA Pro-Base  Fixing Mist | ELF Matte Lip Color 'Rich Red' | Avon 'Coral Connection' Lipstick

I won't go on too much about this as I did a review the other day, which you can read here. But it's a really great face mask. I feel like 'calming' is a great way to describe it but you will need to exfoliate before or after it to get nice, soft skin.

I actually bought this a couple of months back but I've been really loving it this month. It's one of those fixing sprays like Urban Decay do but a lot cheaper. You just spray it all over your face when you've done your make up and it keeps it in place. Basically hairspray for your face. It dries super quick and I honestly feel like my make up last longer and looks better when I've used this. I think it was about £5 too.

I'm not sure I should have the Essie polish in this months favourites as I got it last week but I am so impressed! I will be having a full review hopefully next week but I got this one and another from Fragrance Direct for £1.99. I put this on my nails last Sunday and it only started chipping after 5/6 days and that was still very minimal chipping. I put off buying Essie nail polishes because of the price but now I think they're definitely worth that money. This shade is beautiful too and completely worth the hype.
I have also reviewed the Rimmel Nail Rescue, which  you can read here. It's completely made my nails stronger and longer. 100% recommend it!

This Matte Lip Color (the American spelling stresses me out!) is in the shade Rich Red and it's lovely. It's a lip crayon, basically, and it lasts forever! Literally. You can eat and drink and you can definitely get away without topping it up. I've been wearing it on it's own and I've been using it as a lip liner too.

It was pretty much impossible to get a decent photo to show the colour of this Avon lipstick. The colour is Coral Connection but it's quite a dark coral. It's a very burnt orange colour and it's not totally opaque but it's definitely buildable. I actually wore it in this post. It's so pretty and I've been reaching for it a lot this month. I can't remember the price but it was very reasonable.

What have you been loving this month?

And whilst you're here, you are probably sick of hearing about Google Reader finishing today so if you want to keep up to date with my blog, the Bloglovin' link is in the sidebar or you can just click HERE. hope you'll join me over there!

I BOUGHT TOO MUCH MAKE-UP

This week I received a pretty big ELF order (yes, another one...) and I was just going to do an ELF haul post for you. However, I went to town today (it was payday after all - and my first of being back on a full time wage!) and I may have popped into Superdrug so I decided just to combine all my recent make-up purchases for you. How lucky for you!

I will start with my ELF goodies though. I've done a couple of ELF hauls before and you'll know by now that I really love the brand. So cheap and the products and usually always fab! They had an offer on that if you spent £20 you could get a free goodie bag of products worth £25. That is an offer I was not willing to let slip by. So, when the huge box arrived the other day I was dying to see what was inside it.

When I opened the box to see all of this, I did a little squeal and it was honestly better than Christmas.

First, the products I actually ordered. I restocked on the Maximum Coverage Concealer that I reviewed here. I still have a good amount left but everytime I go on the ELF website, it's usually sold out so whilst it was in stock I thought I may as well stock up. I also got the mini eyelash curlers. I've had my eyelash curlers forever. Literally. I'm pretty sure I got them when I was about 11 in some rubbish gift set. I've been using these since I got them and oh my god! They are amazing! The clamp (is that the right word?!) is tiny so it doesn't cover the whole lash line but it make it so you can get into the corner lashes nicely. The result is amazing; they make my lashes seem even longer and really brightens my eyes.
I was intrigued by the Tone Correcting Powder. I got it in 'Cool' and I wore it today as my powder and my make up has stayed so nice all day. My face didn't go shiny at all and I didn't have any red bits poking through which sometimes happens. I may review this in a few weeks once I've got the hang of it!
I've been getting really in to blush lately and I keep wanting to try cream blushers so I got this one in the shade 'Flirt'. I haven't used it yet but so impressed with the size of it! I thought it would just be a little tub. My MUA eye primer is running out so picked this up and it's £1 cheaper than MUA! I'm not sure why I got he Clarifying Pressed Powder to be honest but I got the shade 'Ivory' and I tried it but it's way to yellow for me and I had to give it to my sister. And I finally got an ELF lipstick! I got the shade 'Fearless' which is a lovely red and it smells INCREDIBLE. It feels really nice to apply and it lasted a good couple of hours.

And this was my free goodie bag! I nearly bought the little eyeshadow duo so I was really pleased with that and the blush, which is in the shade 'Glow' is lovely and really pigmented - I've been wearing it today. It's sort of a blush/highlighter hybrid. I already have a Mineral Lip Tint in 'Cherry' so I was really happy to get this one in the shade 'Blush'. The eyeliner pen is something I can't make my mind up about. I don't usually like felt tip eyeliners but this has a really good, strong nib. It's in the shade 'Coffee' and I never wear brown eyeliners and it's also waterproof which I'm not a fan of but I'm going to give this a try and see how it goes.
The Luscious Liquid Lipstick is a pretty odd device. The colour is lovely but not sure I like the applicator all that much but I do enjoy trying lip products so hopefully I will love this.
The shimmer sheets were the things that scared me the most, particularly as they're in the shade 'Bronze' and the brown on the packaging made the think it was going to be so dark. They're actually just sheets with a bit of shimmer on them and you can just dab them on the top of the cheeks, or wherever you want to shimmery highlight. I tried it out of curiosity and it actually looks very pretty. Probably more at night time, not sure it would suit a day time look!
Not sure I can work with the green eyeliner and dark green eyeshadow and as for the wipes, they seem nice but not a fan of coconut so hopefully the smell isn't too strong.
Very decent goodie bag though! Thanks, ELF!

And then on to today's purchases. I went to Superdrug and then later on I went into Boots and saw they had buy one get one half price or something on all the make up. Gutted.

I needed a restock of the Rimmel Stay Matte Powder and the Collection concealer and there was an offer on that if you bought something from Collection you got a free nail polish too. I chose the shade '63 Shadow' which is a chocolate brown colour. There didn't seem to be much of a selection but free is free!
This year I've been trying different mascaras but it seems the Maybelline Falsies was my holy grail for a reason. I've gone back to it; no other mascara I tried gave as much length and volume as this baby. Maybelline also had an offer that you bought one thing and the second was half price so I decided on a Colour Tattoo in the shade 'On and On Bronze' which I know is a blogger favourite. I have the 'Permanent Taupe' one and I really like that one.
I've been wanting the Sleek Blush by 3 from the new Candy Collection since it was released. There's a cream blush and two powder blush in some lovely pink shade (see, told you I was liking blushers!) and Sleek have amazing blushes. They're so pigmented so very excited to try these out.
And finally I had no intention of ever buying the MUA Undress Me Too palette, which is supposed to be a Naked 2 dupe. I have the Undressed palette by them (a supposed dupe of Naked) but I walked past the stand, it caught my eye and the next thing it was in my hand and then I was at the till. I really like the new white packaging though!

And on that note this is my formal notice of make-up ban. I have completely ran out of room. I have come to realise that I don't actually need anything else so I am going to use up everything I have. I promise to be good and unless something like foundation etc runs out I won't buy anything! So bloggers, please can you not hype anything for a while so I don't get tempted..!

REVIEW: QUICK FIX FACIALS CALMING CLAY MASK

I was recently in Tesco and as I was perusing the makeup and skin care aisles I spied some brightly coloured tubes and was drawn to them. They were face masks by a brand called Quick Fix Facials. I've never heard of them before and after doing some Internet research, it seems like they are a relatively new product on the scene. If I remember rightly there were about 5 different ones that were each for a different purpose. I decided on the Calming Clay Mask as it is for red and sensitive skin. Now my skin isn't overly sensitive but I'm a bit scared to use products sometimes that aren't for sensitive skin just in case of reaction! I do get quite red skin though, particularly around my nose and on my chin.

The clay mask claims to reduce skin inflammation, sooth and calm skin and minimise redness. It suggests leaving it on for 5-10 minutes after putting a thick layer all over the face.
I have been using this a lot and I've only had it about 2 weeks and I've already used half of it (oops?). But I am loving it! First of all, there's no nasty smells. It's quite a fresh smell; you can definitely tell it contains aloe vera. Secondly, it feels really nice. I know that's a weird thing to comment on but I hate rubbing things on my face if they don't feel nice.
It's quite strange in that when you put it on your face, it doesn't harden or anything. It sort of sinks into the skin until it's practically disappeared. That's when I usually go in with a cloth to wash it off with warm water anyway. I just leave it on for however long I feel like it!
In terms of results, I really think that redness has reduced since using this. I don't seem to be applying as much concealer around my nose like I usually do.

One thing I'd recommend however is to use this after exfoliating. I'd definitely use a face scrub first because when I use it without doing that, my skin doesn't feel very soft afterwards. It feels a bit dry and I have to slap on moisturiser like there's no tomorrow or go in with a different face mask just to plump up the skin.

I am happy with the results though and if I remember rightly, it cost about £3/4 so I'll definitely buy it again. I'm keen to try the others as well but I can't for the life of me remember what the others targeted. I've only ever seen them in my local Tesco but surely Boots and Superdrug must have them?!

LIPSTICK COLLECTION

I think a large majority of beauty and fashion bloggers will tell you how much they love their lip products and I am no different. I'd been keeping them just in a little plastic tub for some time but I started over filling the box and realised I needed better storage. I did a quick eBay search and found a perfect sized one and it was less than £2.50 including the postage! It came from China and it took just less than two weeks to get here, so I was impressed with that. The seller I bought from doesn't seem to have it listed anymore but you can find loads of similar ones with a quick search.
I was a bit excited when it arrived and immediately set to put all my lipsticks in it. I fill all 24 gaps straight away so now I either need to stop buying them or buy more storage. I wonder which will happen...
I can't quite decide what to do with my lip products that are longer, like the Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains etc. so at the moment they are just in one of the slots of my main makeup storage, seen here.
Just looking through that makeup storage/collection post is crazy. My collection is even bigger now. I just can't stop buying new things!

Anyhow, I'm really please with this lipstick holder so I thought I may as well just give you a closer look into my lipsticks and I hope this is actually interesting to some of you.

I had to take the photos on my bed because the light it better there!

1st row: Kate Moss x Rimmel (Matte collection) 107, Kate Moss x Rimmel (Original collection) 02, Kate Moss x Rimmel (Spring collection) 20, Rimmel 320 Funtime Fuchsia, MUA Shade 11, MUA Shade 1.
2nd row: Topshop's Hazard, Beguiled, Rumour Has It, All About Me, Brighton Rock, Maybelline Color Sensational 540 Hollywood Red.
3rd row: Revlon Lip Butter's 035 Candy Apple, 096 Macaroon, Revlon Super Lustrous Créme 477 Black Cherry, Revlon Super Lustrous Matte 006 Really Red, Avon Coral Connection, Max Factor 827 Shocking Coral.
4th row: MAC Impassioned, Avon Color Trend Passion & Doll Pink, Collection 5 Pretty Please & 6 Sugar Pink, Sleek True Colour Matte 786 Vamp

It's really very difficult to decide my favourites from this lot. The Kate Moss x Rimmel 107 is probably definitely up there. There was huge hype over it when it was released and it's the perfect winter colour (though I wear it all the time) and it lasts forever. Topshop lipsticks really are amazing. They're so moisturising and they have a great colour range. Beguiled is similar to the 107 but it's not matte.
I have recently bought the Maybelline one and I'm really liking it. It's definitely not red though. When I swatched it, it seemed quite a cherry colour but on the lips it's quite a dark pink. It's very pretty though and it's very buildable. I'm also loving the Avon 'Coral Connection' one at the moment. I seem to be reaching for that most days.
The Max Factor one was from one of those sale bin things in Tesco. I don't know if all Tesco's are doing it but mine has a huge stand with discounted make up. I think it must be discontinued lines because I can't find this on the Max Factor website but they still do this colour, but with different packaging. The colour of it though is lovely and bright and will be amazing if it ever gets sunny here!
The name of the MAC lipstick appears to have worn off the label... I'm really really wanting more at the moment but I feel so bad spending £14 on a lipstick and I can't decide on just one colour. I may have to treat myself though, you know for getting a full time job and all...

ELF Mineral Moistuising Lip Tint Cherry, Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain 005 Crush Béguin,
ELF Matte Lip Color Coral & Rich Red, Rimmel Apocalips Big Bang

These are just the few extra lip products I've got (at the moment...)
I got the ELF Lip Tint as a free gift with an order and I really like it for days when I'm being lazy just for a tiny bit of colour. It's really good for when your lips are really dry too. Also, it tastes AMAZING.
I was so late to the Revlon bandwagon but so glad I eventually jumped on it. The JBKBS are wonderful. They're just like huge crayons! So quick and easy to use. They're quite sheer so they can be built up if you want more colour. If I do, I tend to put a lip liner on first and then this over the top and then I don't have to keep building it for ages to get the colour pay off I want.
The ELF Matte Lip Color's are again like crayons. Sometimes I use them as lip pencils, especially the coral one as to me it isn't actually coral and it's far too pale for me. I usually wear the MUA shade 11 or Topshop's Rumour Has It over the top of it. I love the Rich Red one though and it lasts all day. Even when I eat and drink, it hardly needs any topping up.
And then the hugely hyped Apocalips. I hardly wear it that much but I do really like it. It just gets so messy and I'm usually rushing in a morning and don't have time to be precise and slow. A little definitely goes a long way with it though. Just make sure to check your teeth before you leave the house!

There we go! What are your favourite lipsticks?

ADVICE NEEDED FOR SKINCARE REVAMP!

As far as make up and skin care goes, I've never felt the need to go high end as I've generally always been able to get what I want from the high street and I've always been happy with the results.
Lately I've been getting a bit... bored (?) with my skin care routine. There's parts I really love and some bits I can't be bothered to do because I feel like the products aren't actually doing anything for me (anymore.)

The main two steps I've got issues with is the first two in the routine: cleansing and toning.

Now, when it comes to cleansing I remove my make up with No7's Cleansing Water for Normal/Oily skin. I don't have an issue with this. I actually really love this stuff. After I've taken my make up off though, I like to go in with another cleanser but this time a cream one. Every few days I use the Superdrug Vitamin E Hot Cloth Cleanser, which I also love, but most days I will just massage Boots Botanics Gentle Cleansing Cream All Bright (what a mouthful!) into my skin. As the name suggest, it does claim to brighten the skin which I don't feel has really happened, though I don't think my skin is all that dull in the first place. Like I said, I use it pretty much everyday but I don't actually feel like it's doing anything for me. Previous to using this cleanser, I have used similar ones by Simple, Garnier and Nivea and again, nothing special. None of them have made me want to repurchase and I won't be repurchasing the Botanics one either.

After I've done with the cleansing, I use toner. This is my other problem step. I think it's fair to say not many people actually know the point of toner. It is supposed to unclog pores, remove any last traces of make up and dirt and generally refresh the skin. Again, I've used a few different ones and I start off loving them and then quickly feel like they're not doing all that much. At the moment I am using Garnier Fresh Essentials Refreshing Toner which smells incredible (it's enriched with grape extract) and it does leave my skin feeling refreshed and to be honest, if you're just after a cheap toner this is actually quite decent except from that it hasn't lasted me very long at all. I've previously used the Simple toner which did last a while and I did repurchase a few times but there's just no "WOW" Factor there.

So if I'm going to actually have a skin care routine, it seems a little pointless to have one that I don't like and I feel doesn't work, right?
I'm really keen to try out some higher end products to see how they compare. I know everyone raves Clarins and Clinique and they're the places I'm probably likely to venture off too but if you can recommend any brands for me to check out or if you use Clinique/Clarins then please give me some reviews and tips!
And I will keep you posted on how this skin care debacle pans out!

BLUE JEANS

A few weeks back I did a haul post and in it I said how I bought jeans. For anyone that knows me, this is major! I haven't worn jeans for years which is weird as I used to live in them. I have a pair of the Dorothy Perkins jeggings in black (that I would definitely recommend, by the way!) but I decided it was time to buy an actual pair of jeans and stray away from my comfort zone of black.
I opted for the infamous Topshop Leigh jeans and today we went out for a Sunday roast with it being Father's Day so this is what I wore...

Top; H&M | Jeans; Topshop | Necklace; Topshop | Shoes; H! by Henry Holland @ Debenhams

Very casual and easy outfit. It is Sunday after all. You're very lucky that I'm even out of bed!
I got the top as part of the same haul I got the jeans. This is the first time I've actually worn the top and I really love it. So relaxed and comfortable and I love the colour.
As for the jeans... They are so super soft and I don't think it is possibly to have skinnier jeans than there (which I love!). I'm also surprised at how much I love the colour on me. I do kind of wish I'd gone up a size so that I could wear them higher on my waist rather than them being on my hips but I'm sure I can deal with that!
I got the shoes about a month or so ago when Debenhams had one of there 20% off everything days. I used to have a pair similar from the H! collection but I wore them to death and they're covered in holes so when I saw these I just had to get them. I wasn't overly keen on the white ribbon details at first but I've grown used to them. They're just the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. They are real leather so if you're not a fan of that, then I won't recommend them for you but if it doesn't bother you then you must own them!

Avon Speed Dry+ 'Vamp It'; Barry M Nail Art Pen 'White'

I know in the previous post I said that the Nail Rescue was making my nails long and I'm aware it doesn't seem it from this photo but you should have seen the state they used to be! Also, I broke two of them the other day which was painful!
I got this colour from Avon this week and I am in love with it. I probably didn't actually need another polish this colour but the formula of this is brilliant, it really does dry incredibly quick and so far, it is lasting really well. I have 2 coats on and it's a bit darker than the top, in real life. I love dark nails.
I originally just had vertical lines down each nail and then decided to be ker-razy and add horizontal ones too. I really like how it came out. Except on the other hand. How on earth do people do good nail art using their non-dominant hand?!
Give me your secrets!

Nivea Express Hydration Primer
The Body Shop Vitamin C Skin Reviver
Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector BB Cream 'Light' mixed with Bourjois Radiance Reveal Foundation '51 Light Vanilla'
Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer 'Ivory'
Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer 'Fair'
Rimmel Stay Matte Powder 'Transparent'
Benefit Brow-zings 'Dark'
MUA Eye Primer
Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette 'W.O.S, Naked 2, Faint'
Avon Infinitize Mascara
Bourjois Cream Blush '03 Rose Tender'
Avon Lipstick 'Coral Connection'

Decided to mix together a BB cream and a foundation today. I'm not sure why for but I did. I used a little too much BB cream though and ended up very Oompa Loompa so I had to put my Buffing Brush to extreme use to make it actually match my skin tone. It's a good job I had a lot of time to get ready this morning!
I don't usually line under my eyes with any eyeshadow but I used 'Faint' from the Urban Decay Naked Basics and I really like how it looks.
The mascara and lipstick are also new Avon purchases. I can't yet decide what my thoughts are on the mascara. It has made my bottom lashes nice but I don't feel it gives any volume or length to the top ones. I love the lipstick though! Such a beautiful red-orange which is a colour I don't have or usually go for.
You can't actually see it on the photo but I succumbed to the hype and bought one of the Bourjois Cream Blushes. I'm really loving it too and I think I may need the rest of them. The one I have is pretty pigmented so I have to try not to go too overboard!

Hope everyone has had a lovely weekend! And look at this, 3 posts in 3 days!! (And I have another lined up for tomorrow - woah there!)

REVIEW: RIMMEL NAIL RESCUE

I've never had particularly long nails and over this year I've got more into painting my nails and nail art more than ever. I'm not all that good at the "art" side due to lack of creativity and shaky hands(!) but seeing hundreds upon hundreds of Instagram posts and beauty blogs, I have got serious nail envy.
I was recently in Superdrug looking for a new base coat when I came across Rimmel's Nail Rescue. The clear polish claims to strengthen and help nails to grow in 2 weeks so I was intrigued.
I've been using it for just over the two weeks now and I'm very impressed.

I've been using it as a base coat and also on days when I'm not wearing any nail varnish I will put a coat on and I have definitely noticed results. Usually whenever my nails manage to grow, they will start getting to an almost decent length and then snap off. When I look at my hands from the palm side, I can actually see the tips of my nails over the finger on each one. This has definitely never happened before. They weirdly seem to have grown at different rates though. The little finger nail on my right hand is so much longer than the rest, but it's also the perfect length I want my nails to be so hopefully the rest will catch up soon!
I have a really bad habit of picking my nails, especially when I'm bored, but I've not done at all since seeing how this is working. Also, the little finger in particular, I can tell they are a lot stronger and probably harder to pick/break. Super impressed!

It cost £4.59 and I would definitely recommend it if you're trying to get your nails to grow and not be so flimsy.

HOUSE OF HOLLAND RESORT COLLECTION 2014

As you will all be fully aware by now, I am a massive fan of the House of Holland collections. Every season they deliver with their unique prints, clashing colours and they aren't afraid to experiment.
Their resort collection comes out mid season each year and earlier this week the latest one was released and as expected, I love it.

They've taken inspiration from the Sixties and the types of music from that era by focussing on the girlbands of the decade and adding a Glam Rock feel on top. You can completely see these inspirations coming through in the pieces with the big shoulders, flared bottom trousers, garish prints and a bit of sequins and sparkle just for good measure. Each outfit is incredibly colourful and of course the HOH trademark that is denim features in the collection too in a very trendy and unique way. The HOH team have described the print that features heavily throughout the collection as "vintage inspired 'cauliflower' prints" but I think it's very comic book explosion; I particularly love the sparkly bag in the "cauliflower" style!

What do you think of the collection? Do you love it too?

JUNE GLOSSYBOX

Sorry for being pretty quiet on the blogging front. A mixture of starting a new job, being really unwell and shamefully not having any decent blog ideas. I do have a "Five Product Face" post I want to do but I am feeling really unwell at the moment so I don't look all that great!

This morning my Glossybox for this month arrived. I received my very first one last month and loved it so I had high hopes for this one.

First thing in the box was the Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse OR. I've heard all the big beauty bloggers talking about Nuxe previously so this was a bit exciting. It's essentially an oil that can be used on the face, body and hair and it had gold particles through it making it add a bit of a summer glow. I didn't really get on with the oil in the previous box so hopefully this will work better for me.
Next was a Helen É Shimmer Eye Powder in the shade 26 which is a lovely midnight blue colour. I'm not usually one for colour on the eyes; definitely a neutral kinda gal! But looking forward to playing with this somehow.
I also got a lip balm by Figs & Rougue in Cherry Blossom. I have actually used this today and I love it! The smell is beautiful and it has a slight tint to it to add a little colour (which is helping me look a little less like death.)
I then got the Monu Professional Skincare Hydrating Moisturiser SPF 15. I'm really into trying different skincare at the moment and you cannot beat a good moisturiser so I'm really hoping that good things will come from this. It claims to blur imperfections and correct skin tone and the fact that it contains SPF and Vitamin E so all that sounds like a winner to me.
The final product was a Long Lasting Nail Gloss by MeMeMe. I've never actually used any of their products before but I've read a lot of good reviews so hopefully this will live up to that expectation. I got it in the colour Graceful which is a sort of off white colour.

Overall, another box I'm pleased with from first look. Excited to try everything out and hope they work for me!

Please let me know what kind of posts you'd like me to feature in the near future so I don't get too stuck in blogger's block (have I just coined that? I don't know.)

Have a lovely weekend!

MAY FAVOURITES

I always try to get my favourites posts up in the last week of the month so that they go up by the last date. However, I've been super busy this week with finishing work and going straight into the new job.

Only a handful of products this month as I haven't really bought all that much but I've really been enjoying all of these things.

A mini Bourjois haul happened...
I bought the Healthy Mix Radiance Reveal Foundation mainly because of essiebutton's constant raving over the Healthy Mix Serum (I wasn't aware they were different things when I purchased...). Usually with foundation I like quite full coverage but this is pretty light and sheer however, it is really buildable. I've really been loving it though. Some days I feel a bit lazy and don't want the products on my face to feel as heavy or my skin is behaving for a change, and so this is perfect. I've actually been reaching for this more than my No7 foundation this month.
I think there was an offer on Bourjois that if you spent so much you got a blush free so I picked up the infamous Magic Nail Polish Remover after everybody and their cat hyped it last year and now I can see why. 1 second is definitely pushing it but you just put your finger in it (calm your minds...) and give it a twist (...) and all the polish is removed. I HATE cotton wool (taking my make up off is SO much fun) and I hate the smell of normal remover but this smells quite nice, weirdly, and I don't have to get cotton wool stuck all over my fingers.
So then I could get a little pot of blush for free and I got the shade "34 Rose d'Or" (Rose Gold) and I'm pretty sure I've worn this every single day since I got it. It is beautiful! I definitely want to try more of these blush pots now. The colour is just so pretty.

I love the Real Techniques Buffing Brush but I felt like it just wasn't working as well with the Bourjois foundation. I bought the Expert Face Brush as it's practically the same brush but the bristles are packed more densely and so it has a smaller surface area and it's much more suitable for buffing the foundation it. I've actually not used my Buffing Brush since buying this even for any other foundation. I still love you Buffing Brush, baby!
Another brush but from ELF. Sorry it isn't clean. I did clean it last week when I was planning on taking photos but I never got round to it and then I used it. I bought he Flat Eyeliner Brush from the Mineral range and it is PERFECT. Very tiny and thin which makes it so easy to get super close to the lash line and so much better than any other angled brushes that I've got.

I attended the North West Blogger Meet Up a few weeks ago and in the goodie bag was a sample of the Vitamin C Skin Reviver from The Body Shop. I absolutely fell in love with it and had to go and buy the full size. It makes your skin so smooth and glowy. It says it can be used after moisturiser and as a make up base and I've done both these things. I sometimes use it as a primer, mainly with the Bourjois foundation, or if I'm having a no make up day I'll put this on and it really just freshens up the skin. I've also been putting some on at night either before or instead of a night cream. It smells amazing and I also really think it's helped clear up my skin a bit too. 100% recommend this!

Finally another product that everyone everywhere has raved about, including me. I'm pretty sure I've featured these Barry M Gelly Hi-Shine polishes in previous favourites as I have a couple but I ended up buying this one this month after a girl at work was wearing it every day and I got nail envy. It's in the shade Blueberry and it's the most beautiful bright (not neon!) blue. The formula of these is incredible. You don't really need two coats if you didn't want to and they're super shiny. Love them!

So that's what I've been loving this month. Please do link me to your May Favourites or tell me what you've been loving using this month.
Also, a huge thank you to all my followers. I hit 200 today! Super happy about that! <3
